The School for Continuing and Professional Studies is proud to partner with the following organizations:

Clay County Senior Services has partnered with CPS since January 2011 in order to provide an additional benefit to their constituents. Any Clay County resident who is 60 years or older can receive a $60 stipend for one adult studies class in the fall, spring or summer semesters. The stipend can be used twice per year.

Kansas City has a rich museum community that includes collections in art, history and culture. Making these collections accessible and interesting to the public requires knowledgeable people trained in engaging visitors and working with objects. The Kansas City Art Institute School for Continuing and Professional Studies is partnering with the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Kemper Museum of Art, the National Museum of Toys and Miniatures, the National World War I Museum, the Johnson County Museum, the H&R Block ArtSpace and the Wornall Majors House Museums to create a training program for museum volunteers.

Mid-Continent Public Library is the largest library system in the metropolitan area, operating 30 libraries and serving over 750,000 people in Jackson, Clay and Platte counties. The libraries offer free and low cost continuing education programming. The Mid-Continent Library offers art classes for youth and adults at their facilities with instruction from the Kansas City Art Institute, School for Continuing and Professional Studies.

The Professional Development Network is a branch of the Cooperating School Districts of Greater Kansas City. CPS is now a part of PDN and has been approved as a continuing education provider for the CSDGKC. PDN members receive a 25% discount on classes for art educators.
