Continuing Education is proud to partner with the following organizations:
Clay County Senior Services has partnered with Continuing Education since January 2011 in order to provide an additional benefit to their constituents. Any Clay County resident who is 60 years or older can receive a $60 stipend for one adult studies class in the fall, spring or summer semesters. The stipend can be used twice a year.
Mid-Continent Public Library is the largest library system in the metropolitan area, operating 30 libraries and serving over 750,000 people in Jackson, Clay and Platte counties. The libraries offer free and low cost continuing education programming. In partnership with KCAI Continuing Education, Mid-Continent Public Library offers art and design courses for youth and adults at a variety of branches across the metro with instruction provided by our faculty.
The Professional Development Network is a branch of the Cooperating School Districts of Greater Kansas City. Continuing Education is a part of PDN and has been approved as a continuing education provider for the CSDGKC. PDN members receive a 20% discount on graduate-level courses for art educators.
Nordstrom is committed to the communities in which they have stores, and each year donates millions of dollars to nonprofits across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. KCAI Continuing Education is grateful for the support Nordstrom provides by funding for the department to offer free Art Club workshops local and regional K-12 schools.
